We're the people behind Parrotdise Organic Farm & Café in Hua Hin, Thailand. But our story with marketing started long before we opened our own café.
Jeffrey brings over 20 years of hands-on marketing experience
He spent 10 years building and marketing his own businesses, followed by another 10 years managing online marketing for a large organisation.
During those years, he gained extensive experience in online marketing, particularly Facebook, building brand awareness, reaching the right audiences and understanding what makes people connect with a business.
People connect with people
One of the most valuable lessons he's learned is simple:
People connect with people, not just logos.
That's why we believe so strongly in personal branding, authentic storytelling and showing the real faces behind a business.
Marketing is constantly evolving. Platforms change, customer behaviour changes, and what worked yesterday might not work tomorrow. Staying curious, learning and adapting are essential.
And that's something we genuinely enjoy.
From a place off the beaten track to a destination
When we opened Parrotdise Organic Farm & Café, many people told us it was too far out of the way.
"It's not on the usual route," they said.
And they were right.
But today, Parrotdise is a place people choose to visit. They make the journey because they've heard about us, seen our stories, followed our animals, discovered our food or simply become curious about what we do.
That didn't happen by accident.
It took consistent marketing, creativity, personal storytelling and a lot of hard work.
Of course, we're proud of our homemade food, drinks, garden and atmosphere. They all play an important role in bringing people back.
A great business deserves to be seen
But here's something we strongly believe:
You can serve the most amazing food, create the most beautiful atmosphere and offer the friendliest service. But if nobody knows you exist, nobody will come.
That's where marketing comes in.
Marketing isn't something you do once
We see marketing a little like looking after your health.
You don't take care of your health for one month and then expect to stay healthy forever. You keep working on it.
Marketing works the same way.
It's not about running a few advertisements, posting on Facebook for two weeks or launching one campaign and hoping for the best.
